Dr. Sheryl Radin
Dr. Sheryl Radin has been practicing dentistry for over 30 years and has a strong commitment to excellence in her field. Dr. Radin completed an additional two years of specialty training beyond dental school in order to specialize in treating infants, children and teens. Philadelphia Magazine has also honored Dr. Radin as a Top Pediatric Dentist in Bucks County. Dr. Radin’s office offers a relaxing, enjoyable and safe dental visit for children. For children that require more complex dental visits or children that are extremely nervous or anxious, Dr. Radin has earned a specific license that enables her to safely administer oral sedations and nitrous oxide. Dr. Radin is thoroughly dedicated to having all of her patients look forward to visiting the dentist. You will often find her patients at ease with her personal touch, charisma and warm personality. Her state-of-the-art dental office was recently renovated using multiple environmental friendly materials and is architecturally unique.
Dr. Radin graduated from Temple University School of Electrical Engineering Technology in 1978 and soon after graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1982. She started her career as a general family dentist, then realized treating children was her passion and returned to school to specialize in pediatric dentistry. Dr. Radin completed her residency in Pediatric Dentistry from Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia, where she was Chief Resident. She received her Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry in 1997. Ongoing education in dentistry and sharing her professional experience with future dental students is very important to Dr. Radin. She holds a faculty position at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry and is also the Treasurer of the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry Alumni Association. In addition, Dr. Radin is involved in the Northeast Philadelphia Dental Implant Study Club, the Greater Philadelphia Dental Hygiene Study Club and the Eastern Dental Study Club.
Involvement in the local community is very important to Dr. Radin. She is the school dentist for the Pennsbury School District and completes yearly examinations for the students in various schools. She also proudly sponsors the Tooth Buddy Tales, a professional Puppet Show that is enjoyed by hundreds of children throughout Bucks County, PA and Mercer County, NJ. The puppet show educates children about good oral habits and the importance of proper diet for the overall health of their teeth. Children are taught that visiting a dentist is both necessary and fun.
Dr. Sheryl Radin along with her husband Dr. Robert Levine, and their children, Dr. Bari Levine and Dr. Ross Levine, “Growing Smiles Foundation,” a non-profit organization was formed which on a yearly basis (since 2012) provides comprehensive dental care to orphanages in Lima, Peru. Also accompanying Dr. Radin and her family on these charitable missions are many dental students from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.
Dr. Radin is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Radin resides in Bucks County Pa with her husband Dr. Robert A. Levine, a renowned and respected implant surgeon and periodontist in Northeast Philadelphia. They have two children Dr. Ross Levine who has joined Growing Smiles in Floral Vale and Dr. Bari Levine who will be a pediatric dental resident in 2016. Dr. Radin’s passions beside dentistry are hiking, cooking, and exercising.
Dr. Ross Levine
Dr. Ross Levine is a board certified pediatric dentist and joined the Growing Smiles in Floral Vale family the summer of 2015. The son of Dr. Sheryl Radin and Dr. Robert Levine, Dr. Levine has been immersed in the dental community from an early age. Growing up in Bucks County and a graduate of Council Rock High School North, Dr. Levine would spend his summers in high school and college scheduling appointments, sterilizing dental instruments, and assisting the Pediatric Dental Residents at Episcopal Hospital. Following his graduation from Council Rock, Dr. Levine attended the University of Maryland, College Park where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. After Maryland, he continued his education at Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree, graduating Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Ross Levine received his specialty-training certificate from Temple University Episcopal Hospital’s Pediatric Dental Residency Program. He was selected as Chief Resident during his second year. Dr. Levine is a specialist in sedation dentistry, advanced behavior management, anesthesia, trauma and the oral health care needs of the special needs patient.
Dr. Ross Levine is dedicated not only to the children’s dental care in private practice but also to the underserved. He has provided dental care and education to hundreds of children in an orphanage outside of Lima Peru. He led a team of dental students and dentists along with his parents Dr. Sheryl Radin and Dr. Robert Levine through the Growing Smiles Foundation, a non-profit founded by his sister Bari Levine who has a master’s in public health and is a senior dental student at Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry.
Dr. Ross Levine is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry the Northeast Philadelphia Dental Implant Study Club, the Greater Philadelphia Dental Hygiene Study Club and the Eastern Dental Study Club. Dr. Levine continues to stay current on all the latest technologies and state-of-the-art dental care.
Dr. Ross his wife Abby welcomed their son Noah in January of 2018. In his free time, he loves playing hockey, softball, skiing, and following his favorite sports teams. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends in the suburbs of Bucks County, PA Philadelphia, New York, and New Jersey.
Dr. Bari Levine
Dr. Bari Levine, MPH, is a pediatric dentist and is thrilled to join the Growing Smiles in Floral Vale family. Dr. Bari graduated from Temple University Hospital’s pediatric dentistry residency program in 2018, where her mother, Dr. Sheryl Radin and brother, Dr. Ross Levine trained. Dr. Bari went to Council Rock North and attended the University of Maryland, College Park with a degree in Environmental Science and Policy (2009). After graduation, she worked in the private business sector at UBS Investment Bank in London, UK and TerraCycle in Trenton, NJ before attending Temple University’s Kornberg School of Dentistry. At Temple, Bari earned a Masters in Public Health simultaneously with her degree in dental medicine, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude (2016).
She is specially trained, like her family members, Dr. Sheryl Radin and Dr. Ross Levine, in sedation dentistry, trauma, advanced behavior management techniques, and treating special needs patients. She is skilled in helping even the most anxious child feel at home at the dentist.
Dr. Bari is the CEO and founder of the Growing Smiles Foundation, a dental non-profit organization she started with her family, dedicated to improving the oral health and overall health of underserved children in Peru (www.growingsmilesfoundation.org). Bari first traveled to Peru in 2012 to visit an orphanage, where she immediately noticed the desperate need for oral health education and dental care. That initial visit catalyzed her vision to provide free, comprehensive dental care to these underserved children. She has since returned to Lima every year with a team to provide dental care and education.
Her wonderful team consists of supervising dentists, including her family of dental specialists, Dr. Sheryl Radin, Dr. Ross Levine, Dr. Robert Levine, and 17 Temple dental students. To-date, the team has provided more than $450,000 in free, comprehensive dentistry to children, adolescents and adults in Peru. Her team has also partnered with one of the most prestigious dental schools in Peru, UPC School of Dentistry in Lima, to ensure sustainability of their efforts. Bari plans to replicate a similar program locally in Philadelphia.
Dr. Bari Levine is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the dental fraternity Alpha Omega.
Dr. Bari Levine and her husband, Dr. Yair Lev (a cardiologist) live in Philadelphia and they celebrated the birth of their daughter, Aviv in June 2018. In her free time, Bari loves to travel to new places, eat delicious foods, cook a wide range of dishes, play the flute and spend time with her friends and family.
